For Individuals
Nihao! I'm Jimmy, a movement coach and personal trainer based in Queens Park, London. I use movement to help people feel better in their bodies, whatever that means for you.
Following Bruce Lee's advice to "absorb what is useful, discard what is useless, and add what is specifically your own", I've curated a toolkit of movement modalities to meet you exactly where you're at.

Movement Modalities
The same is true of the body. The foundation of training should integrate our body parts, not isolate them. With simple tools we develop complex capabilities, and tap into flow states. Below are my favourite movement modalities to upgrade the human body.
No gym, no equipment? No problem. Removing barriers is key to consistency. Bodyweight training builds functional strength, improves coordination, and develops movement quality that translates directly into everyday life.
The kettlebell builds base-level athleticism and work capacity like nothing else. The offset weight demands stability and control with every rep. When you can move one for ten minutes, you must have good structure, breathing, and movement quality.
If the kettlebell builds base-level athleticism, the rope builds base-level movement. Every rotation is a data point, instant feedback for the nervous system. Low impact and endlessly scalable, it's one of the finest tools for those dealing with injuries.
The staff is both a flow tool and a combat tool, and the nervous system loves both. Every grip, block, strike and spin sends a stream of sensory information to the brain, building a quality of movement that is as meditative as it is athletic.
All athletic movement contains rotation, and few tools develop rotational power, grip strength and shoulder resilience quite like the club. The long lever and shifting weight make it a lesson in controlled chaos, balancing the body symmetrically.
Criminally overlooked. Balance demands presence if you start ruminating you will end up on your arse. Better balance means more real-world strength, and it's a fundamental expression of how well the nervous system and body communicate.
After exertion comes restoration. Qigong and coherent breathing actively downregulate the nervous system, slowing the heart rate and calming the mind. How well you recover determines how well you adapt.
To be healthy we must move it's a fact of biology. But all work and no play is not good for us either. Why limit play to a pitch? Do yourself a favour and play a little. Your mind, body and soul will all be better for it.
*Flow is the mental state in which a person performing an activity is fully immersed in a feeling of energised focus, full involvement, and enjoyment in the process of the activity.
Client Testimonials
I've been an osteopath and yoga teacher for 15 years and in Jimmy, I've finally found the trainer I've always been looking for. He has a deep understanding of healthy functional movement and applies this knowledge very effectively. My sessions are always fun and varied, using clubs, kettlebells, sticks and ropes. I've seen rapid improvement not just in how much weight I can move but, more importantly, these gains in strength and coordination are making themselves felt in all of my activities of daily living.

Working with Jimmy has been one of the best investments I've made in my postpartum recovery and overall wellbeing. I needed more than a traditional personal trainer, I needed someone who understood the challenges that come with being a new mum. From rope flow and Qi Gong to kettlebells and movement disciplines inspired by his training with the Shaolin monks, he brings expertise to every session. He's far more than a personal trainer; he's an exceptional movement coach.

First and foremost, you want someone who delivers results, and Jimmy absolutely does that. But what makes him stand out is that he brings so much more than just a good workout. His knowledge of human anatomy, weight training, posture and joint health means he can help you fix existing problems, train properly, and avoid issues that could catch up with you later in life. On top of all that, he's great fun to be around. He's the whole package.
